A london based rhyme writer, spoken word artist & poet. 4 walls was created during lockdown, Joe’s depitcitaion was the ‘Four Walls, it’s that room in your house, and your mind. it’s that box you’re put in. that stereotype. those limitations you set yourself and others set for you. it’s those closet doors. that echo chamber. it’s hometowns and borders. societal norms. it’s a restriction and a blank canvas. it’s a construct where every brick laid can rise or fall. a place where every wall can be torn down or rebuilt.’
We (flo and myself) were blown away with his talent and we decided to give the Ep a visual identity. Both designers agreed on a typographical route, creating a type that looked as if it was bending round corners of a room. Coupling this with lines from the tracks to help resonate with the audience. A cube was decided as a holding device to control the design within the posters created. 
Complimented die cut limited 12’ sleeve to the vinyl release.
