Not Your Monolith (NYM) is a UK-based, global-focused magazine that is disability-perspective led. Each issue has a unique theme explored from a deeper context of lived experience, opinions, and desires.
Taking inspiration from 90's magazines that is still inspires my design language. I wanted to showcase a more typographical approach with the first issue to compliment the unique and exciting talent for these disabled artists. 
Each layout design was tailored to either the writer or artist through hand painting, photography or non conventional typography layouts. ​​​​​​​
